- Our purple-shirted volunteers make a real difference by helping on hospital wards, showing visitors how to find their way round our busy hospitals, playing music and keeping our gardens growing – and much more!
- Our massage therapists help patients to manage pain, feel more comfortable and recover faster while relieving stress for our hard-working NHS staff.
- Our support hub offers advice to patients who need extra help with welfare rights, money worries and housing. This service is a lifeline for those with long-term illnesses and we even help to prevent homelessness.
Through our funding, we accelerate improvement and innovation beyond what the NHS can provide. We fund research that helps to find better ways of treating patients. And through the money we raise, we can buy new equipment for our hospitals to diagnose and treat patients faster.
