Host a Royal Free Charity Tea Party

3 February – 31 May 2026

Support patients, families and staff across our NHS – one cup at a time.

By hosting a Royal Free Charity Tea Party fundraiser, you’ll help fund the extra support that makes a real difference for people receiving treatment in our hospitals and the staff who care for them.

It’s as easy as sticking the kettle on!

When you sign up, you’ll get:

  • a free fundraising pack with ideas, tips and materials
  • support from our friendly team to help you plan your event
  • everything you need to host a tea party that works for you

At home, at work, at school or in your community: every tea party helps bring people together.

How your fundraising helps

  • £26 could pay for an hour of complementary therapy for a patient, helping to reduce stress and aid recovery during a hospital stay
  • £42 could contribute towards the costs for training a patient to lead a peer support group, helping them to comfort and reassure patients experiencing life-changing diagnoses
  • £50 helps us to train a volunteer who can bring companionship and support to a lonely patient.
