Back by popular demand, the North Downs 50 has returned for 2024. Trek 50km and take in some of the best of the Surrey hills and the North Downs Way and fundraise to make a difference to staff, patients, families and researchers across the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

What is the North Downs 50 Challenge?

This 50km looped route sets off from the Guildford basecamp and takes in wonderful views of the Surrey hills, the North Downs Way, and the surrounding countryside.

You’ll get full support and hospitality along the route. With a 25km option also available, there is a North Downs Challenge ready for you!

Charity sponsorship
Pay a small registration fee and do lots of fundraising!
Full challenge 50km: £30 registration fee + minimum £360 fundraising target
Half challenge 25km: £20 registration fee + minimum £240 fundraising target

Pay a higher contribution to the cost of your place fundraise towards a smaller target.
Full challenge 50km: £75 registration fee + minimum £225 fundraising target
