Summer work experience programme

Are you a student aged 16–20, living or studying locally? We’re launching our second summer work experience programme and are looking for 3 to 5 motivated students to join us. 

Hours of work: 30 hours per week 

Contract: one week, Monday to Friday, 11 August 2025 – 15 August 2025 

Location: Pears Building, Hampstead, London NW3

This one-week opportunity will give you hands-on experience in the charity sector. You’ll shadow professionals, build valuable skills and get an inside look at what it’s like to work in an NHS charity. 

Each student will be placed in a specific department, offering them exposure to areas such as engagement and communications, fundraising, finance, grants, human resources, volunteering and services, property, operations and our Rec Club and leisure centre.

    Whether you’re exploring career paths or preparing for your next step, we’ll help you develop the skills needed for your future opportunities. 

The programme will run from 11 August 2025 to 15 August 2025.  

You must be available to participate in the full 5 days of the programme (30 hours).

We will help develop your skills and knowledge whilst you bring positive attributes. To make the most out of this work experience programme, you’ll need to be curious, ask questions and be enthusiastic to learn.
