Marsden Lecture – save the date

The man leading Google’s hunt for digital solutions to some of the world’s most challenging health problems will give this year’s Marsden Lecture.

Dr David Feinberg, leader of Google Health, will speak on: “The role of health technology and innovations in delivering better care” on Thursday 19 November from 5.45pm.

The Royal Free Charity is excited to be streaming the event live on YouTube to give everyone a chance to hear Dr Feinberg’s fascinating insights. More details on how to access the event will be coming soon.

The annual event is named after William Marsden who founded the Royal Free Hospital in 1828 after finding a girl dying on the steps of a Holborn church and being unable to get hospital care for her.

Dr Feinberg will be introduced by Sir David Sloman, London regional director of NHS England, and former chief executive of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Feinberg, a former child psychiatrist and then hospital executive, leads cutting-edge work finding solutions to healthcare challenges through artificial intelligence, product expertise and hardware.
