Local NHS heroes appeal
It’s been a challenging year for all of us but it’s particularly tough for our local NHS Heroes. And it’s only going to get more difficult. This winter is the toughest test in the history of the NHS, and we’ll only get through these times if our NHS heroes get the support they need.
We’ve clapped and showed our appreciation. It’s become apparent that those on the NHS frontline are today’s real heroes, and, across our local community, this couldn’t be more true.
Our staff have continued their heroic efforts, often at personal sacrifice to themselves and their families. As our local medical teams continue to go above and beyond, we’re seeing pandemic patient numbers rise.
Despite this, our NHS staff will doggedly carry on, battling a devastating illness over what will be months of worry and uncertainty. Caring for our loved ones with kindness and compassion around the clock. Arriving for each shift not knowing what the day will bring or what’s around the corner.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the Royal Free Charity is standing by our frontline heroes, every step of the way. We are providing support and facilities for staff which enable the Royal Free, Barnet and Chase Farm hospitals to go beyond their NHS funding.
But you can help. We’re working closely with the hospital trust to understand the immediate and long-term needs of staff. Your support really could make all the difference
