Richard Scarth

Richard was appointed as Deputy Chief Executive in September 2020 and has been with The Royal Free Charity for five years as Director of Operations. In addition, he is a Director of both The Royal Free Charity Development Company and The Royal Free Charity Recreation Club and has responsibility for the wide range of services the charity provides, together with its property portfolio. Richard also oversees the construction and operation of The Pears Building, where the UCL Institute of Immunity and Transplantation will be based. Richard started his career in financial services and has held senior positions within a number of large healthcare organisations.
