Duty Manager at Recreation Club

Salary £20,000 – £23,000 per annum – subject to skills and experience
Hours of work 40 hours a week over five days (not including breaks)
Base Recreation Club, Fleet Road, London NW3 2QG

The Royal Free Charity is seeking an ambitious and talented duty manager to join their Recreation Club team.

The role

Reporting to the acting club manager/acting assistant club manager, as well as being able to spend your time personal training on shift – you’ll have the ability to do a multitude of roles so no two days are ever the same! You’ll gain valuable management skills, looking after the entire building including the gym which will provide you with the skills to launch a long-term career in management should you choose to progress. In addition to this, you’ll deal with potential new members as well creating a real sense of community with the existing ones, dealing with front of house administration, health and safety, and most importantly giving back to the local community.

The team

The Recreation Club of the Royal Free Hospital was established over 40 years ago and provides a fitness and leisure club to the public, local community and hospital staff. The club plays host to state of the art gym, two top of the range studios, a swimming pool and sports hall.
