We're looking for a Charity Trustee

Charity Trustee

The Royal Free Charity is looking to recruit two new trustees to join its board.

At the Royal Free Charity, we focus on supporting three core groups:

1.  Patients and their families, whether those who live locally to the hospitals or those who come from further away to use the trust’s specialist services.

2. The staff of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, so they can deliver the best possible healthcare.

3. The researchers working in our hospitals and partner institutes, enabling the Royal Free London to have both a local impact and the potential of national and global reach.

We enhance the experience of patients and support staff throughout their hospital journey, through the services we provide directly and the programmes and equipment we find on the wards. We’re an agile and adaptable organisation that acts as a solution provider. We’re flexible in how we support the projects and services that deliver the greatest impact in support of our vision and mission.

We are seeking two trustees, one with a high level of financial expertise (e.g. an accountant or audit professional) and the other with experience that can help us maximise our returns from our property assets. Both should be strategic thinkers, with excellent communications skills and the ability to probe and appropriately challenge both the Executive and Board colleagues, deploying a collaborative approach and sound judgement.

If you would like to receive an information pack for this role with details on how to apply, please send an expression of interest to our Director of People at [email protected].

Closing date: Friday 16 December 2023
