How your gift will help
A gift in your will costs nothing in your lifetime, but it can make a massive difference to the quality of medical treatments and care received by others.
Legacies to the Royal Free Charity are playing an increasingly important role in improving patient care. Your support will enable future generations to benefit from pioneering medical research and improved treatment at Barnet, Chase Farm and Royal Free hospitals.
‘I’m supporting the Royal Free in my will because they were there for my brother at the most difficult of times, and I have seen first-hand the immense difference that this life-changing support will make for future patients’
Barbara Kenton, legacy pledger
Examples of how recent gifts in wills have made a difference include:
• funding new research initiatives into renal and bladder disease
• funding research into new, potentially life changing treatments for patients with breast and pancreatic cancers
• transforming the children’s outpatient clinic into a colourful and cheerful environment
• provision of stress-reducing massage therapies for patients being treated for conditions such as cancer, leukaemia and dementia
