Pancreatic Cancer has the lowest funding invested in research and as a consequence it has one of the lowest survival rates of all cancers. Bespoke Pancreatic Cancer treatments, earlier diagnostic tools and advance equipment for research are needed to improve these results and save lives. Funding of research is vital and increasing survival times allows patients to try new treatments giving them the best chance possible.

The wish of all Pancreatic Cancer patients is to have a bespoke treatment path, the most advanced equipment for diagnostic tests, treatment and monitoring and the chance of recovery. Through the Fiorina Fund and together with other Pancreatic Cancer Charities we are investing in the future of our Pancreatic Cancer patients. We have an amazing, dedicated HPB team at The Royal Free whose drive and determination to save lives and improve diagnosis and treatment is nationally recognised.

The Charity is currently providing funding for cutting-edge research projects which are already enabling changes to the way patient’s treatments are analysed and monitored and enabling better understanding of the condition. These are the building blocks on which future cures are developed.
