Take part in the NHS Big Tea5 July 2021 (or whenever you like)
Join a national outpouring of love to raise money for your local NHS heroes at Barnet, Chase Farm and Royal Free hospitals
We’re urging our fantastic friends and supporters to join the nation’s biggest tea break on 5 July and help raise money for the incredible people in our NHS who’ve done so much to help everyone get through the pandemic.
Following a year like no other, get involved in a national outpouring of love and thanks for NHS staff and volunteers on its birthday by hosting or taking part in an NHS Big Tea at 3pm on 5 July, or anytime before and after!
Each event can be in person or virtual, with the community, friends, family or at work, and is a chance to reflect and say thank you for everything that NHS staff and volunteers have done and continue to do, by taking part in the nation’s biggest tea break to raise money for our hospitals. Remember, you can host your party, or weather depending, barbecue anytime.
Get involved the following ways
- Hold a virtual tea break and ask all attendees to donate £10
- Throw a socially distanced garden party with your six favourite friends and family and ask them to donate £10 each
- Have a bake sale with your work, school or college
- Hold a competitive bake off with your neighbours and ask for a donation for each submission
There are many ways to raise funds, why not register your ideas below and you’ll be able to download a fundraising starter pack.
Busy that day? Why not make a donation
Don’t worry, if you’re strapped for time, why not by take 10 minutes to enjoy a tea break, donating £10 to our charity, and sharing the love on social media tagging us at @RoyalFreeChty and using #NHSBigTea.
