Volunteer Coordinator

Salary £29,000 per annum, pro rata – subject to skills and experience 

Hours of work 30 hours a week over four or five days

Base Your place of work will be: Chase Farm Hospital, On-site presence (minimum 4 days per week in the office)

The Royal Free Charity is seeking an experienced volunteer coordinator to join their volunteers team.

The role

The purpose of this role is to support the coordination of the charity’s volunteers at Chase Farm Hospital ensuring that they have the best experience possible.

The position requires that you work face-to-face in our office at Chase Farm Hospital.

The Volunteer Coordinator will report to the Volunteer Manager – special projects and will work alongside the rest of the volunteer team based at The Royal Free Site.

The team

The volunteer team is responsible for managing and coordinating volunteering roles across the three main hospital sites and satellite sites for the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (RFL).

The volunteer team work closely with Trust staff to ensure patients have the best possible experience whilst they are in the hospital, they also support the volunteers with anything they may need to carry out their roles and make a significant contribution to the operational and strategic aims of the charity and trust.
